The Horde stepped it up Wednesday night with a strong 8-3 victory over the Diablos. After falling behind 1-0, the Horde again answered the call quickly. After trading goals with the Diablos, Liam Monahan scored his first goal for the Horde to tie it up. Then, the scoring continued, culminating with Will Schultz's first point for the Horde on Zimmerman's 3rd goal of the night. Mark Paska and Jeff Nelson each scored for the second consecutive game and Tyler LaMont picked up his first goal for the Brick Red and White.
The true stars again were the Horde's stingy defense of LaMont, Hinderks, Chester and Kline, which allowed only 3 goals and 20 shots. Pete Morrow's undefeated season continued.
